Established in 2017, Cardinia Environmental Recycling receives eligible construction and demolition materials and processes them onsite into reusable construction products. From its Pakenham base, the facility supports builders, civil contractors and infrastructure works across Cardinia and Melbourne’s south-east, helping keep concrete, brick, asphalt and roof tile materials in circulation.

What materials can I bring to this facility?
The facility accepts eligible concrete, bricks, asphalt and roof tiles for recycling. Loads must be free from timber, asbestos, bonded or friable asbestos, fibro, soil, clay and other non-recyclable waste. Loads are assessed on arrival and may be refused if they do not meet site acceptance requirements.
Are there any vehicle or load restrictions?
Yes. This facility does not accept loads delivered by ute or trailer. Please contact the site before arrival to confirm that your vehicle, load and material are suitable.
What recycled products can I purchase from this facility?
A range of recycled construction products is available, including recycled crushed concrete, recycled concrete and brick blends, recycled asphalt product (RAP), rubble and profilings. Please contact the site to confirm current stock as product grades and availability may vary.
